Contact usWisdom teeth that grow in at an awkward angle or don’t have enough space to fit comfortably in the mouth are often extracted to prevent discomfort, infection and damage to the surrounding teeth or jaw.It is common for a dentist to recommend wisdom tooth removal if the patient experiences discomfort or gets an infection.
If the wisdom teeth have erupted, they will follow the typical extraction procedure. However, if they are impacted and haven’t emerged they may require a surgical extraction by an oral surgeon.
