Priya Champaneri
Firstly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Priya Champaneri
and I am delighted to be joining the team here at Wilson House Dental Practice.
I qualified from King’s College London in 2016 with Honours. My undergraduate training at the world
renowned Guy’s Hospital, provided me with a broad range of experience, managing patients with
differing requirements and from a range of backgrounds.
Having successfully completed my Foundation training year; I then went onto undertake a Dental
Core Training year based at Guy’s Hospital. The multidisciplinary environment of the hospital helped
me to develop my knowledge and skills and helped me to further appreciate the importance of
working as part of a team to ensure the best care for patients.
During this year, I worked alongside
specialists in a number of departments including Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery.
In 2017, I gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of
Edinburgh.
I have since been working in general practice. This, combined with my locum work at Guy’s Hospital
on the Acute Dental Care department has provided me with the skills to listen to and understand my
patient’s concerns and work with them to provide the best possible care. I am a strong believer in
preventative and minimally invasive Dentistry and I pride myself on providing high quality dentistry
whilst remaining fair and ethical.
I am committed to continuing professional development and as such I have attended several lectures
and courses to ensure that I am up to date with the latest theories and technologies.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy going to the gym, reading and travelling.
I look forward to meeting you at Wilson House.
