Your Denture Treatment Journey

Here’s what to expect:

Step 1

Consultation and Oral Health Assessment

Your dentist will examine your mouth, gums and any remaining teeth to determine the most appropriate denture option. Impressions and digital scans may be taken to ensure accurate planning.

Step 2

Denture Design and Try-In

Your bespoke denture is designed to achieve the right balance of comfort, appearance and function. You may attend a try-in appointment to review the fit, bite and look before the final denture is completed.

Step 3

Final Fitting, Aftercare and Adjustments

Once your denture is ready, it is carefully fitted and adjusted to ensure comfort, stability and natural appearance. Any necessary fine-tuning is carried out at this stage.

We provide detailed aftercare guidance and arrange review appointments to make further adjustments if required as your mouth adapts.

Book Your Dentures Consultation

At Wilson House, we are proud to have a registered clinical denture technician available in the practice. There are very few registered CDTs in the UK. Luke Gaeta is not a dentist, but a fully qualified Denture Technician, the specialist who creates the denture after impressions are taken.

Luke also holds the additional qualification to see patients directly via a dentist’s prescription, which is very rare. He accepts referrals for consultations for all types of dentures and will take impressions, bite registrations and fit the denture himself.
